Your privacy is important to Aligned Leisure. This privacy policy provides information about the personal information that Aligned Leisure collects and the ways in which Aligned Leisure may use, hold and disclose this personal information.
Aligned Leisure Privacy Policy
This policy describes the way Aligned Leisure will collect, hold and disclose personal information. Personal information is information that identifies you or could identify you. Aligned Leisure are subject to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including the Australian Privacy Principles. Aligned Leisure reserve the right to vary their privacy policy from time to time, by posting an updated policy accessible via Aligned Leisure’s website.
The protection of personal information is critical to Aligned Leisure’s relationship with customers, employees and members. Any personal information received in connection with an Aligned Leisure product or service, or in the conduct of Aligned Leisure’s business, will be treated in line with the principles set out in this document.
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, personal information may mean some or all of the following: a customer’s name, contact details, date of birth, emergency contact details, bank account and/or credit card details, tax file number, student identification details, concession details, Medicare number, social security number, employment details, payment history and other sensitive information.
Cookies
Aligned Leisure may use tracking technologies such as “cookies” or web beacons. A cookie is a small text file that Aligned Leisure may place on your computer. Usually, cookies are used as a means for our websites to remember your preferences and are thus designed to improve your experience of our website. Cookies may collect and store personal information about you. Web Beacon is designed to provide information related to your access to websites, when you browse websites, open or preview an HTML-formatted email.
You can configure your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, or notify you when a cookie is sent. Each browser is different, so check the “Help” menu of your browser to learn how to change your preferences. It is possible to set the browser to refuse tracking technologies such as cookies or web beacons.
If you disable the use of cookies on your web browser or reject specific cookies from our website or linked sites then you may not be able to gain access to all of the content and facilities on Aligned Leisure’s website.
Website Analytics
When you visit and browse our website, both the website host and some third party service providers may collect information for statistical, reporting and maintenance purposes.
Subject to the terms of this privacy policy, this information is used to administer and improve the performance of Aligned Leisure and will not be used to identify you. The information may include:
- the number of users visiting our website and the number of pages viewed;
- the date, time and duration of a visit;
- visiting patterns of individuals;
- the IP address of your computer; and
- the path taken through our website.
Aligned Leisure will use website analytic services to help analyse how you use our website. Website Analytics generate statistical and other information about website use by means including but not limited to cookies which are stored on users’ computers. The information generated is used to create reports about the use of our website. Our third party providers of these services may store this information. Aligned Leisure will not (and will not allow any third party to) use Website Analytics to track or to collect any personally identifiable information of visitors to Aligned Leisure’s website. Aligned Leisure will not associate any data gathered from Aligned Leisure with any personally identifying information from any source as part of Aligned Leisure’s use of Website Analytics.
Aligned Leisure treats personal information that may be obtained through cookies, web beacons and any other information supplied to us (for example if you send us an email) in accordance with this privacy policy.
Use and disclosure of Information Collected
Aligned Leisure will not collect or monitor any personal information about an individual without their consent. Personal information that is collected will be what is provided voluntarily by a customer, member or prospective member. Personal information is collected so that we can adequately provide service to our customers. Aligned Leisure may from time to time use the information for marketing to you or for any other purpose permitted under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Where possible, we will endeavour to provide you with anonymity if you so desire. In certain situations, however, we can only deal with individuals who have identified themselves to Aligned Leisure.
When a product or service is purchased from Aligned Leisure, personal information may be requested in order to provide the requested service or product, to provide updated information, or to advise of other relevant products of Aligned Leisure or our partners, which we believe may be relevant to you. You are not obligated to provide personal information however failure to do so may result in Aligned Leisure being unable to provide services or products to you.
Personal information is collected directly from customers when they complete and submit application forms or information forms that relate to products or services that are provided by Aligned Leisure. This can be done in person, on line, via our website or on the phone via one of our staff.
Sensitive Information
As a result of the products and services that Aligned Leisure offer, we may also be required to collect sensitive information. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy sensitive information means the information a customer has disclosed to us about their physical and mental health and wellbeing or other personal information that may be referred to as “sensitive”.
Sensitive information will only ever be used for providing services to customer. Such information will not be used or disclosed for any other purposes without consent, except in exceptional cases when disclosure may be required by law or is necessary to protect the rights or property of Aligned Leisure, or any member of the public, or to lessen a serious threat to a person’s health or safety. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy sensitive information is a subset of personal information.
Some sensitive information must be retained by Aligned Leisure. Health information must be retained for 7 years following the last occasion on which service was provided. Where information was collected while the individual was a child it shall be retained until the individual is 25 years old, or for 7 years whichever is the greater. Your personal information that is no longer required will be de-identified or destroyed. In many circumstances, however it will be kept for marketing purposes as you will have consented to that in writing with us.
Information from Third Parties
During the course of business, Aligned Leisure may also collect personal information that is given to them by a third party (for example, information that is on a publicly maintained record, information that is passed from a previous manager of facilities that Aligned Leisure take over management of). This information forms part of the personal information described in this policy. Aligned Leisure will not intentionally solicit personal information that is unintentionally disclosed.
Information Security
Aligned Leisure will take reasonable steps to protect all personal information within their direct control from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Aligned Leisure will take reasonable steps to hold information securely in electronic or physical form in access controlled premises or in electronic databases requiring logins and passwords.
Electronic personal and sensitive information is stored in a secure, Australian-based data centre.
Only Aligned Leisure authorised personnel have access to information and information will only be used for approved purposes.
Contacting Aligned Leisure Regarding Access & Correction and Privacy Complaints
An individual may:
- request access to and seek the correction of their personal information held by Aligned Leisure at any time;
- make a complaint in relation to a breach of privacy; or
- submit a query or concern about this privacy policy

Access – You will be required to provide proof of identity in order to obtain access to your personal information. Aligned Leisure may charge a fee where access is provided. Aligned Leisure may refuse to provide access if permitted to do so by law. Aligned Leisure aims to provide access to your personal information within 30 days of a valid request.
Complaints – At all times, privacy complaints:
- will be treated seriously;
- will be dealt with promptly;
- will be dealt with in a confidential manner; and
- will not affect your existing obligations or affect the commercial arrangements between you and Aligned Leisure.
Aligned Leisure’s Privacy Officer will commence an investigation into your complaint. You will be informed of the outcome of your complaint within a reasonable period of time following completion of the investigation.
Transfer of data due to change in management
Aligned Leisure operates recreation, leisure and sports facilities on behalf of local governments. From time to time, Aligned Leisure may commence or complete contractual requirements for the management of particular facilities. In the process of completing a contract, Aligned Leisure may be required to provide the owners of the facilities with personal details that relate to our customers. These personal details may include a customer’s name, contact details, date of birth, emergency contact details, bank account and/or credit card details, tax file number, student identification details, concession details, Medicare number, social security number, employment details, payment history and other sensitive information.
It is a contractual requirement of managing facilities that we make this information available. In the event that any information made available due to the above circumstances is to be passed to facility owners, Aligned Leisure will manage the transfer of data in line with the principles of this privacy policy.
Casey Leisure
Conditions of Entry
Purpose
- To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all customers, visitors and staff at the Casey Leisure centre (which includes the car park) (Centre) Aligned Leisure Pty Ltd (as trustee for the Aligned Leisure Trust) Casey Leisure and the City of Casey (Council) has developed these Conditions of Entry, as amended from time to time (Conditions of Entry).
- These Conditions of Entry are available at the entrances to the Centre and on Casey Leisure’s website.
Application
- By entering this Centre, all entrants (you) agree to be bound by the terms of these Conditions of Entry which outline your risks, responsibilities and obligations.
- It is your responsibility to read or inform yourself about these Conditions of Entry.
General
- You must:
- obey all signs displayed at the Centre;
- follow all reasonable requests and directions by either staff of Casey Leisure or the Council; and
- comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- In addition to the terms of these Conditions of Entry, there are specific conditions of entry, use and/or etiquette guides which apply to areas or facilities throughout the Centre including the aquatic areas, sauna, steam room, health club, fitness studios and stadium which you must also comply with when entering and/or using those areas or facilities.
- Casey Leisure reserves the right to refuse entry to any person.
- If you do not comply with these Conditions of Entry, Casey Leisure reserves the right in its absolute discretion (in addition to any other rights at law) to:
- ask you to leave the Centre; or
- remove you from the Centre (using reasonable and proportional force if required);
- prohibit you from re-entering the Centre;
- suspend or cancel your membership (if applicable) in accordance with the Aligned Leisure Membership Terms & Conditions (Membership Terms & Conditions);
- report you to an appropriate authority or law enforcement body; and/or
- impose any other measure otherwise outlined in these Conditions of .
Risk Warning and waiver
- Risk Warning: You enter the Centre at your own risk. Your participation in the recreational services and recreational activities supplied by Casey Leisure at the Centre, including the use of certain facilities or equipment, (Sports Activities) is inherently dangerous and may involve risk to you. There are risks specifically associated with participation in the Sports Activities and accidents can and often do happen. Prior to you undertaking any such Sports Activity, you should ensure you are aware of all of the risks involved, including those risks associated with any health condition you may have.
- By agreeing to these Conditions of Entry, you acknowledge, agree, and understand that participation in the Sports Activities provided at the Centre may involve risk. You agree and undertake any such risk voluntarily and at your own risk. You acknowledge that the assumption of risk and warning above constitutes a ‘risk warning’ in accordance with relevant legislation.
- Waiver: A supplier of recreational services or recreational activities may ask you to agree that the statutory guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (which is Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) do not apply to you (or a person for whom or on whose behalf you are acquiring the services or activities). If you agree to these Conditions of Entry, you will be agreeing that your rights (or the rights of a person for whom or on whose behalf you are acquiring the recreational services or recreational activities) to sue the supplier in relation to recreational services or recreational activities that you undertake because the recreational services or recreational activities provided were not in accordance with the guarantees are excluded, restricted or modified as set out below.
- For recreational services or recreational activities to which the Australian Consumer Law (Commonwealth) applies: By agreeing to these Conditions of Entry, you agree that the liability of Casey Leisure in relation to recreational services (as that term is defined in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and the Australian Consumer Law) for any:
- death;
- physical or mental injury (including the aggravation, acceleration or recurrence of such an injury);
- the contraction, aggravation or acceleration of a disease;
- the coming into existence, the aggravation, acceleration or recurrence of any other condition, circumstance, occurrence, activity, form of behaviour, course of conduct or state of affairs:
- (i) that is or may be harmful or disadvantageous to you or the community; or
- (ii) that may result in harm or disadvantage to you or the community, that may be suffered by you (or a person for whom or on whose behalf you are acquiring the services) resulting from the supply of recreational services or recreational activities,
is excluded and the application of any express or implied term that any services will be provided with due care and skill is hereby excluded.
- For recreational services to which the Australian Consumer Law (Victoria) applies: Warning under the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012: Under the Australian Consumer Law (Victoria), several statutory guarantees apply to the supply of certain goods and services. These guarantees mean that Casey Leisure is required to ensure that the recreational services it supplies to you:
- are rendered with due care and skill; and
- are reasonably fit for any purpose which you either expressly or by implication, make known to the supplier; and
- might reasonably be expected to achieve any result you have made known to the supplier.
- Under section 22 of the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012 (Vic), the supplier is entitled to ask you to agree that these conditions do not apply to you. If you agree to these Conditions of Entry, you will be agreeing that your rights to sue the supplier under the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012 (Vic) if you are killed or injured because the services were not in accordance with these guarantees, are excluded, restricted or modified in the way set out in these Conditions of Entry.
Note: The change to your rights, as set out in these Conditions of Entry, does not apply if your death or injury is due to gross negligence on the supplier’s part. “Gross negligence” in relation to an act or omission, means doing the act or omitting to do an act with reckless disregard, with or without consciousness, for the consequences of the act or omission. See regulation 5 of the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Regulations 2012 (Vic) and section 22(3)(b) of the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012 (Vic).
Exclusion of rights under the Australian Consumer Law (Victoria): By agreeing to these Conditions of Entry, you agree that the liability of Casey Leisure for any death or personal injury (as defined in the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012 (Vic)) that may be suffered by you (or a person for whom or on whose behalf you are acquiring the services) resulting from the supply of recreational services is excluded.
- For recreational services or recreational activities to which the Australian Consumer Law (New South Wales) applies. Warning under the Civil Liability Act 2002 (NSW): By agreeing to these Conditions of Entry, you agree that the liability of Casey Leisure in relation to recreational activities (as that term is defined in the Civil Liability Act 2002 (NSW)) for any:
- death;
- physical or mental injury (including the aggravation, acceleration or recurrence of such an injury);
- the contraction, aggravation or acceleration of a disease;
- the coming into existence, the aggravation, acceleration or recurrence of any other condition, circumstance, occurrence, activity, form of behaviour, course of conduct or state of affairs:
- that is or may be harmful or disadvantageous to you or the community; or
- that may result in harm or disadvantage to you or the community, that may be suffered by you (or a person for whom or on whose behalf you are acquiring the services) resulting from the supply of recreational activities,
is excluded and the application of any express or implied term that any services will be provided with due care and skill is hereby excluded.
Risk warning to personal property
- You are also responsible for your own property (including any vehicle parked in the car park). To the extent permitted by law, Casey Leisure or the Council will not be held responsible for any damages to, loss or theft of your personal property.
- Lockers may be available to store your personal property. It is recommended that you store your personal property (and in particular, any valuables) in lockers.
Indemnity
- You indemnify and agree to keep indemnified Casey Leisure and its directors, officers, employees, contractors and agents (Representatives) against any liability for any claim, loss, damage, costs and expenses incurred or suffered by Casey Leisure or its Representatives arising from or in connection with:
- your breach of these Conditions of Entry; or
- your acts or omissions at the Centre.
- Under no circumstances will Casey Leisure accept liability for any loss suffered by you as a result of the cancellation or postponement of any Sporting Activity or Event held at the Centre or for any indirect, special or consequential losses associated with your attendance at the Centre, including without limitation, loss of opportunity.
Unplanned closures and other public health and safety measures
- Casey Leisure may at any time and for any duration its absolute discretion:
- close all or part of the Centre (notwithstanding any advertised operating hours);
- modify access to the Centre;
- modify staffing or scheduling of leisure and aquatic activities;
- impose any measures or directives that are necessary to maximise the health and safety of its customers, visitors and staff including social distancing requirements, mask wearing mandates or density limits in all or any part of the Centre,
to comply with any law, regulation, directives, orders or directions by any government or governmental agency for public health and/or safety reasons (Public Health & Safety Laws).
- Casey Leisure will notify you of such changes made under clause 20 as soon as is practicable by way of signage at the Centre and/or any other method of communication determined by Casey Leisure.
- You must comply with any of the measures adopted by Casey Leisure in clause 20 to ensure compliance with the Public Health & Safety Laws.
- We request that you do not enter the Centre if you feel unwell or have an infection or contagious illness.
Supervision of Children
- Children under the age of 10 years must be accompanied by a person over the age of 16 years to enter the Centre who is responsible for their care and conduct.
- Children under the age of:
- 10 years must be actively supervised by a person over the age of 16 years at all times whist in the Centre; and
- 5 years must be within arm’s reach of a person over the age of 16 at all times whist in the Centre.
Surveillance and filming
- This Centre is fitted with electronic surveillance and entrants may be filmed or photographed for security purposes.
- By entering the Centre, you agree for your image, likeness or voice to be used as part of any video, recording or photography (Image) by Casey Leisure (or its authorized representatives) or the Council for the purposes of marketing the Centre’s business. You acknowledge that Casey Leisure owns all rights (including intellectual property rights) in such Images and has the right to use, reproduce or license these Images without obtaining your further consent.
- The capture of your memorable moments on camera or video is welcomed. However, such photos, or videos must:
- be limited to those of your family or friends and must not include anyone who does not consent to their image being photographed or filmed; and
- be used for personal use only (in any medium) and not used for commercial exploitation, advertising, sale or distribution without Casey Leisure’s prior written approval which may be withheld in its absolute discretion.
- No photography, recording or filming is permitted in the change rooms at the Centre.
Prohibited items
- Casey Leisure prohibits certain items from being brought into the Centre. You must not bring into the Centre any of the following items (Prohibited Items):
- alcohol;
- illegal substances including controlled, dangerous or illicit drugs;
- drones or other types of aerial vehicles;
- glassware, glass bottles or cans, including spray cans;
- unauthorised temporary signage and promotional products;
- fireworks/flares/laser pointers or lights/smoke generators;
- confetti or shredded paper;
- balloons or other inflatable items;
- knives or other dangerous weapons;
- firearms, explosives, chemical, radioactive or biological substances;
- rollerblades/skates, skateboards, scooters, segways or bicycles;
- animals (other than guide/assistance dogs);
- professional cameras, audio recording equipment, video cameras or tripods
- any other item that in the opinion of Casey Leisure could cause harm, injury or public nuisance or otherwise compromise the safety and security of customers, visitors or staff. The Centre is a smoke free venue (including outdoor areas). You must not smoke any form of cigarette (including electronic cigarettes) in any part of the Centre. The car park is excepted, however you must not smoke within 5 meters of the entrances to the Centre.
- In addition to any of the rights of Casey Leisure specified in clause 7 and 8, Casey Leisure reserves the right to:
- search you or your property to determine whether you have a Prohibited Item;
- require you to surrender a Prohibited Item; and/or
- remove any Prohibited Item from your possession or control and retain or dispose of such item.
Prohibited conduct
- Casey Leisure prohibits certain conduct or activities at the Centre which are detailed in this clause (Prohibited Behaviours). You must not behave in a way which:
- is inappropriate;
- is disrespectful or offensive to other customers, visitors or staff;
- interferes with the amenity of the Centre or enjoyment of the Centre by other customers, visitors or staff;
- is threatening, dangerous or causes injury to other customers, visitors or staff;
- interferes with, obstructs or otherwise prevents staff, council officers or their contractors or agents from performing their work;
- misuses or causes damage to the Centre or any property of Casey Leisure, the Council or another third party;
- fails to comply with any requirement or reasonable request or direction of Casey Leisure or its staff or is in breach of a measure or directive adopted by Casey Leisure under clause 20; or
- is otherwise illegal.
- You must not enter, or use any of the facilities, in the Centre if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- You must not engage in any type of promotional activities or solicit for business or conduct any type of business or customer survey at the Centre without the prior written approval of Casey Leisure which may be withheld in our absolute discretion.
Use of equipment and facilities
- You must use the equipment and facilities at the Centre in accordance with the signage and any directions of Casey Leisure staff for the particular activities.
Clothing attire
- You must be suitably and properly attired at all times in the Centre and comply with any signage or directions of Casey Leisure staff for the particular activity.
Conducting business
- You cannot use the facilities within the Centre for any private or commercial use or purpose (eg coaching or training in return for a fee or reward) without the prior written approval of Casey Leisure.
- If you wish to use any of the facilities within the Centre for a commercial use or purpose, you must contact an Casey Leisure staff member who will provide you with information about the commercial hire approval process.
Ticketing
- Casey Leisure may from time to time hold Sporting Activities or other events at the Centre which are ticketed (Ticketed Events). For any Ticketed Events, you must comply, ensure that any subsequent holder of the ticket complies, with these Conditions of Entry (including this clause 40) and any other terms and conditions of Casey Leisure for the Ticketed Event.
- Casey Leisure will not issue any admission ticket(s) for the Ticketed Event unless it receives full payment from you (Ticket).
- Casey Leisure does not accept any responsibility for lost or stolen Tickets. Any lost or stolen printed tickets must be reported immediately to Casey Leisure.
- Unless you hold a Ticket for entry to a Ticketed Event, you will not be permitted entry to the Event. You must only:
- obtain a Ticket from Casey Leisure or an authorised ticket agent;
- enter the reserved area or occupy the reserved seat that is specified on your Ticket and not enter any other reserved area or occupy another reserved seat.
- You must not sell or on-sell your Ticket to another person without the prior written approval of Casey Leisure.
- Casey Leisure may refuse your entry to, or remove you from, the Centre if;
- your Ticket is counterfeit;
- your Ticket has been obtained from a third party other than Casey Leisure or an authorised ticket agency or by way of re-sale which was not approved by Casey Leisure in writing.
Privacy
- Casey Leisure is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information. Your personal information is collected, used and disclosed by Casey Leisure in accordance with these Conditions of Entry and our Privacy Policy (available at https://alignedleisure.com.au/privacy-policy/) (Privacy Policy).
- Casey Leisure may collect and use your personal information for the purposes of:
- operating the Centre;
- membership enrolment
- enrolment in Sporting Activities, programs and other activities;
- fulfilling event ticket purchases;
- administering and providing you with certain activities, services and events;
- keeping you informed about activities, lessons, upcoming events, membership offers or special offers;
- conducting surveys or research to improve our activities and services at the Centre;
- completing incident reports;
- ensuring your safety through the use of surveillance equipment; and
- otherwise in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- Casey Leisure may disclose your personal information:
- to Casey Leisure’s related companies and/or other third parties for administrative purposes used in the operation and management of the Centre (including the storage of data);
- to the Council in accordance with our contractual obligations (refer to clause 49 );
- when required by law.
- Casey Leisure operates the Centre on behalf of the Council. Under the terms of its management contract with the Council, Casey Leisure may be required to provide the Council with certain personal information that relate to Casey Leisure’s These personal details may include a customer’s name, contact details, date of birth, emergency contact details, bank account and/or credit card details, tax file number, student identification details, concession details, Medicare number, social security number, employment details, payment history and other personal information. In the event that any such personal information is required to be provided to the Council, Casey Leisure will transfer such information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- Casey Leisure will otherwise not disclose any of your personal information to any third party without your consent.
- Any marketing communications to you will be in accordance with the requirements under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If you do not wish to receive promotional material from Casey Leisure you must either opt-out by unsubscribing from the relevant communication or contact a Casey Leisure staff member on [email protected].
- The Privacy Policy contains further details about you can access or correct personal information we hold about you; how you can make a privacy related complaint; how that complaint will be dealt with and whether your personal information is disclosed to overseas recipients for the purposes of storing data.
24 Hour Access (If applicable)
- The health club at the Centre is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to members with the applicable access.
- If you are a member who accesses the health club outside staffed hours, you acknowledge that you are subject to the Membership Terms & Conditions and acknowledged that you:
- enter and use the equipment in the Centre at your own risk;
- will not use any equipment if you believe there is a risk to your personal health or safety; and
- can only use your access for yourself and must not admit another person, whether they are a member or non-member of the Centre. Casey Leisure reserves the right to suspend or terminate your membership if you breach this clause 54(c).
- members must not activate the duress alarm without due cause. You agree to indemnify Casey Leisure for any costs incurred by Casey Leisure for your breach of this clause 54(d).
Variation, Severance and Governing Law
- Casey Leisure reserves the right in its sole discretion to vary these Conditions of Entry by providing you written notice of any variation. The notice may be provided by any reasonable communication method, including but not limited to the Centre’s website, social media channels, email or signage.
- Any provision of this Agreement which is void or unenforceable may be severed without affecting the enforceability of other provisions.
- These Conditions of Entry are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
Etiquette and Conditions of Use – Health Club
By entering the Health Club, you agree to the following additional conditions of entry:
- If assistance is required during your visit, see a staff member.
- Always carry a towel and water bottle.
- Practice personal hygiene by wiping down equipment when finished.
- For the comfort of other customers please ensure personal hygiene is maintained.
- No street or work attire, open-toed shoes or work boots are allowed.
- Bags are not permitted in the Health Club. Lockers are available for use.
- Time limit of 20 minutes applies to cardio equipment during peak times.
- Share equipment in between sets.
- Only use the equipment for its intended purpose.
- Refrain from using unfamiliar equipment without the advice of staff.
- Replace weights in racks after use.
- Practice personal hygiene by wiping down equipment when finished.

Etiquette and Conditions of Use – Group Fitness/Program Studios
By entering the Studio, you agree to the following additional conditions of entry:
- Each participant must have a valid booking or ticket.
- Entry will not be permitted into classes after the first 5 minutes.
- Equipment cannot be reserved.
- If assistance is required during your class, see your instructor or a staff member.
- Always carry a towel and water bottle.
- No street or work attire, open-toed shoes or work boots are allowed.
- Bags are not permitted in the studio. Lockers are available for use.
- Only use the equipment for its intended purpose.
- Refrain from using unfamiliar equipment without the advice of staff.
- Replace equipment after use.

Etiquette and Conditions of Use – Aquatic Areas
By entering the Aquatic Areas, you agree to the following additional conditions of entry:
- Customers are required to obey all signs and always follow the directions of lifeguards.
- Unsupervised children will be removed from the water.
- Toddlers, babies, and incontinent persons must always wear water-proof pants or nappies.
- Dispose of used nappies in dedicated nappy bins.
- Please shower before entering the pools, spas, saunas, and steam rooms.
- Oils, creams, soaps, and sprays of any kind are not permitted when using these facilities.
- To ensure the safety of yourself and others please do NOT:
- dive (dive entry only permitted by trained swimmers under staff supervision);
- bomb or otherwise involve yourself in rough play;
- hang on the lane ropes; or
- run around the Aquatic Areas (walk only)
- If you, or a child under your care, have suffered any stomach related symptoms including diarrhoea in the past 14 days, please refrain from using the aquatic facilities.
- Notify staff immediately if a faecal accident occurs.
- The following conditions of use apply when swimming laps:
- keep to the left of the lane;
- keep the end of lanes clear for turning;
- give way to faster swimmers before turning for the next lap; and
- observe lane speed instructions.
- Only recognised swimwear is to be worn in the water. Articles of clothing such as streetwear, underwear, jeans, t-shirts, leotards, and sporting wear are strictly prohibited in the water.
- The following items are not permitted in the pools:
- mermaid tails;
- water guns;
- water balloons;
- oversized inflatable pool toys (exception of baby swim rings/seats); and
- boogie Boards

Etiquette and Conditions of Use – Spa/Sauna/Steam Room
By entering the Spa, Sauna or Steam Room, you agree to the following additional conditions of entry:
- Customers are required to obey all signs and always follow the directions of lifeguards.
- Only customers over the age of 16 years may enter and use these facilities.
- Oils, creams, soaps, and sprays of any kind are not permitted when using these facilities.
- Shaving is not permitted.
- The sauna is a dry sauna, no water is to be poured on the heating element.
- It is recommended the use of these facilities is limited to 15 minutes at a time.
- Please do not enter these areas if you:
- feel unwell.
- are pregnant.
- have high or low blood pressure; or
- have had a recent heart attack or have a heart condition.
- Exercise is not permitted in the Sauna or Steam Rooms.
- Customers entering and using these facilities do so at their own risk.
- Please shower before entering pools after using these facilities.

By entering the Wave Pool, you agree to the following additional conditions of entry:
- Keep clear of the signposted zone where waves are generated.
- No diving, running or boards.
- Flotation devices are not permitted without prior authorisation by staff.
- The Wave Pool is not recommended for customers who are pregnant, have heart conditions, back or leg conditions, recent surgery, pre-existing medical conditions that would place them at risk of injury or put them in difficulty.
- Wearing jewellery and/or glasses in the wave pool is also not recommended.
- Report any issues to staff immediately.

Etiquette and Conditions of Use – Water Slides
By entering the Water Slides, you agree to the following additional conditions of entry:
- All children under the age of 5-years are not permitted to use the raft ride.
- All children under the age of 10-years are no longer permitted to use the single rafts. They are allowed to use the raft ride however must use a tandem raft with a parent/guardian over the age of 16-years (all normal requirements must still be met, minimum of 1.2m height and maximum of 150kg weight – raft included in the weight).
- All children 10-years and older are permitted to use both the single and tandem rafts.
- Obey all instructions given by the Lifeguards operating the slides
- No food or drink allowed in the water slide area
- Any person under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted on the slide or in the Centre
- Pregnant women and patrons with heart conditions, back trouble, or other serious medical conditions should not use the slides
- Do not run, dive, sit up, stand, kneel, rotate, or stop on the slides
- Swim attire with exposed zippers, buckles or metal objects are not permitted
- Eye glasses must be securely fixed with head straps
- Read and obey all posted signs
- Ride at your own risk

Space bowl rules
- All riders must be more than 1.2 metres tall
- All riders must be 10 years of age or older
- All riders must be competent swimmers – pool depth is 2.4 metres
- Single riders only – chains are not permitted
- Please ride feet first lying on you back with legs firmly crossed at the ankles. Arms must be folded across your chest.
- Do not turn, dive, sit up, stand, kneel, rotate or stop on the slide
- Riders must wait for the Lifeguard’s signal before beginning the ride
- At the end of the slide, please obey all Lifeguard instructions and exit the pool immediately
- Maximum load: 136kg
Raft ride rules
- All riders must be more than 1.2 metres tall
- Children under the age of 10 years must have an adult in attendance when collecting their raft from the Lifeguard and with them on the ride.
- Children under the age of 5 years are not permitted to ride the raft ride
- The supervising adult must ride in the raft prior to their child riding or supervise from the viewing platform or the exit point
- Single rafts: can be used by single riders only still meeting all slide requirements
- Maximum load: 150kg

Etiquette and Conditions of Use – Water Play
By entering the Water Play, you agree to the following additional conditions of entry:
- Please be aware that the water conditions in the wave pool will change
- Please keep clear of the bather free zone where the waves are generated
- This feature may not be suitable for persons who are pregnant, have heart conditions, have pre-existing medical conditions or have leg or back weakness
- All children under 5 years of age must be accompanied into the water and remain within arm’s reach of an adult at all times
- When the waves are in motion all children under the age of 10 must be accompanied into the water and remain within arm’s reach of an adult, with the ratio of 1 adult to 2 children
- Only swim vests or water wings are to be used as flotation devices
- Boogies boards, water noodles, swim rings or other inflatable devices are not permitted in the pools when the waves are in motion
- No diving, no balls, no running, no hanging on the ledges or pool ladders
- Please follow staff instructions and have fun!

Membership
The following has been prepared to support your safe entry and use of the Casey Leisure gym outside of regular staffed hours, commonly referred to as 24/7 access. For your safety and the safety of those around you, please always read and follow the below guide.
Entry & Exit
- For after-hours Health Club access please refer to the below entry and exit points at each facility:
Casey ARC: Scan your membership band on the left-hand side at the front entrance. Make your way through the café area, behind reception and scan your band at the Health Club entrance at the top of the ramp as per usual.
Casey RACE: Scan your membership band on the left-hand side at the front entrance. Make your way through reception and scan your band at the Health Club entrance at the top of the ramp as per usual.
Endeavour Hills Leisure Centre: Scan your membership band at the rear gym entrance only (no access through main entrance).
- Only the named membership holder of the band is permitted access. Members found allowing access to non-members or band sharing may have their membership revoked in line with this condition.
- For your safety the whole centre is fully monitored by CCTV (excluding inside change rooms).
- The main entrance is locked and alarmed after hours. Do not attempt to enter or exit through this entrance outside of staffed hours.
First Aid & Emergencies
- A first aid kit and defibrillator are located at all facilities for your use if required
- For your safety, there are red wall mounted duress buttons located throughout the Health Club and changerooms. Personal duress lanyards are recommended to be worn during your workout.
Should you or another patron need immediate/emergency assistance please hit this button. We encourage you to carry your mobile phone at all times.
- In the event of a facility emergency, such as a fire, exit through the after-hours entry / exit point via the gym. Do not attempt to exit via the main entrance.
- We strongly encourage you to familiarise yourself with the location of all safety equipment, including the duress button, first aid kid, defibrillator and emergency exits prior to commencing your workout.
Equipment Use
- When accessing the gym outside of staffed hours, be mindful of your limits. We strongly discourage attempting new exercises, equipment or machines, or attempting major lifts alone.
- When using cardio equipment always connect the provided emergency stop clip to you prior to commencing your workout (the red clip at the front of the machine).
- Treadmills take 3 seconds to boot up after hitting start. The stop button is located in the middle of the handles, with the emergency stop cord located just underneath the stop button.
- If planning to access the gym outside of staffed hours, we strongly encourage you to connect with our gym team for a demonstration on how to adjust equipment to suit your height and preference, and how to safely operate all equipment, including the location of emergency stop buttons prior to your first after hours visit.
Women’s Only Access
Casey Leisure proudly offers Women’s Only Access to support the CALD community within Casey. To comply with our female only swimming nights 24/7 access will not be available at the following times:
Casey ARC: Fridays between 8pm-10pm (Fortnightly)
Casey RACE: Saturdays between 8pm-10pm (Weekly)
Aquatics
Children need supervision! Drowning is the leading cause of unintentional death in children under five years of age and almost half of all injuries recorded at public swimming pools involves children. Watch Around Water assists aquatic staff to promote safe supervision practices and provide a safe venue for the community to participate in sport and recreation.
The program promotes consistent supervision policies including:
If the child is under 5 years of age:
1 adult: 2 children
- Must be accompanied in the centre by a responsible parent / guardian over the age of 16 years old
- The parent or carer needs to be within arms reach of the child at all times.
- The child will be given a pink wrist band when casual swimming
If the child is under 10 years of age:
1 adult: 4 children
- Must be accompanied in the centre by a responsible parent / guardian over the age of 16 years old
- The parent or carer needs to be actively supervising their child at all times.
- Parents / guardians must position themselves to have a clear view of the child with no physical or structural barriers between them and the child / children
- The child will be given a yellow wrist band when casual swimming.
If the child is over 10 years of age:
- The parent or carer needs to be aware of the child’s swimming ability and supervise them accordingly.
All unsupervised children will be removed from the water.
We will not permit entry to the centre for families and / or groups where the number of parent/guardians supervising children under 10 years exceeds the ratio of 1:4 (ratio of 1:2 for children under 5).
