Doveton Pool is closed for the season.
During the summer open season:
- Pool opens when temperature exceeds 25°C
- Weather checked at 4:00pm the day before (Melbourne Bureau of Meteorology)
Doveton Pool Concept Plan
Doveton Pool in the Park is set for exciting upgrades to ensure it remains a beloved spot for locals.
Construction is expected to finish by April 2026 and involves replacing the existing 50m pool with a new one. This new pool will include:
- an accessible entry ramp
- reducing the depth of the pool so it’s more accessible
- upgrading and extending the pool plant room and equipment
