Casey ARC and Casey RACE swimming lesson updates

Starting from July 1, 2024, Aligned Leisure will manage all seven City of Casey recreation and leisure facilities, including Casey ARC and Casey RACE under the name of Casey Leisure. While we are dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition, we understand that you might have some questions. To address your concerns, we have compiled this comprehensive FAQ section. This guide covers essential information about changes to the swim school program, and payment schedules.

City of Casey, YMCA Victoria, and Aligned Leisure have been working together to minimise any disruption to you and your family when using the facilities and services, but there will be some changes, so we have put together the following information to assist you.

Key information:

  • The Swimming Lesson program from 1 July 2024 will be the Swim and Survive program developed by Royal Lifesaving Society of Australia (RLSSA).
  • The majority of current centre staff, including swim teachers, have confirmed their employment with Aligned Leisure, so you will see many familiar faces around the centre and in the water.
  • All of your customer and membership information has been securely transferred to Aligned Leisure, and your membership will continue without interruption. There is no need for you to take any action.
  • Your direct debit schedule will remain fortnightly, with the first direct debit from Aligned Leisure commencing Thursday 4 July 2024 in line with the current YMCA debit cycle.
  • The annual price increase to swimming lessons will occur on 1 July 2024 with your new price listed below.
  • Students will still be able to play and swim before, after and on other days as part of their membership.
