On Wednesday the 7th of October, our amazing Street Team members, Josh and Sarah, attended the Ageing Positively Big Day Out at the Old Cheese Factory, hosted by the City of Casey.
With beautiful weather and a fantastic community atmosphere, the event attracted a great turnout of local residents eager to discover the wide range of services, programs, and opportunities available through the City of Casey and its community partners.
The Casey Leisure Street Team was on hand engaging with attendees through fun activities such as cornhole and quoits, creating plenty of opportunities to connect with the community. One of the highlights of the day was meeting and chatting with so many people, whether they were existing members, casual visitors, or those discovering Casey Leisure for the first time.
The Ageing Positively Big Day Out is just one of many events being held throughout the Ageing Positively Festival during October. Casey Leisure is proud to support the festival by offering a range of free and low-cost activities across our centres, helping older adults stay active, connected, and engaged within the community.
