Casey Stadium recently hosted the highly anticipated CheerCon State Championships from August 23rd to 25th, 2024, marking one of our biggest and most exciting events of the year. The championship brought together the best cheerleading and dance teams from across Victoria, showcasing incredible talent, athleticism, and team spirit.
This year’s event was truly one for the books, with impressive participation numbers that highlight the growing popularity of cheerleading and dance in our state:
- 33 clubs from across Victoria
- 410 routines performed
- 5,488 athletes showcasing their skills
- 5,613 spectators cheering them on
The energy in Casey Stadium was electric as teams took to the floor, demonstrating their hard work, dedication, and passion.
In an exciting first for CheerCon, ‘Summit Bids’ were introduced at this year’s event. These coveted bids offer teams the opportunity to compete at an international level at The Summit, Varsity All Star’s end-of-season championship event in Orlando, Florida, in April 2025. Four exceptional teams from Victoria have earned these prestigious bids, opening doors for our local athletes to showcase their talents on a global stage. The most excited club is Vibe Studios in Kilsyth South!
