Gymnastics at Casey Leisure
Casey Gymnastics is the City of Casey’s and outer south-east of Melbourne’s premier gymnastics club with two facilities Endeavour Hills and Casey Stadium. Affiliated with Gymnastics Australia and Gymnastics Victoria, our clubs offer programs for all ages from pre-school right through to adult including competitive gymnastics.
Our state of the art gymnastics facilities are fully equipped with balance beams, bungee, climbing ropes, foam pit, parallel bars, rings, sprung floor, trampolines, uneven bars and more.

Pre-school gymnastics
PlayGym is a casual gymnastics session where children can advance their fine and gross motor skill development through exploration, discovery and play. Our experienced staff set up creative, age-appropriate activities designed to engage your child’s interest and imagination.
A staff member is available throughout the session to offer assistance and guidance where needed; however, active supervision and participation from a parent or guardian is required. The parent or guardian must remain within arm’s reach of their participant at all times. No children under 9 months will be permitted on the gym floor.

Adult gymnastics
Pre-school gymnastics
KinderGym is designed for children between 0-4 years. The skills in this category are ‘foundation’ skills, suitable for the beginner stage of learning gymnastics skills, and prerequisite skills for developing more complex skills.
Recreational gymnastics
GymElementary is a one-hour class tailored for 4-5 year olds enrolled in 4-year-old kindergarten. Whether your child is new to the sport or progressing from our PreGym program, GymElementary provides a solid foundation in gymnastics.
Our experienced coaches foster confidence, listening skills, discipline, safety awareness, and body control. Through a two-week rotation, gymnasts explore fundamental body shapes and skills on various apparatus, including floor, vault, bars, rings, parallel bars, and beam.
Enrolment in 4-year-old kindergarten is a prerequisite for this class.
For school-attending children aged 7-8, GymMovers offers a dynamic one-hour class that caters to both new gymnasts and those progressing from GymExplorers.
In this class, we introduce more advanced movements and skills while continuing to refine coordination, balance, strength, and body awareness.
Gymnasts will rotate through all artistic gymnastics apparatus within a two-week cycle, including vault, bars, beam, floor, parallel bars, and rings.
GymFoundation is an engaging 60-minute class designed for school-attending children aged 9-10. This class serves as an entry point for older children who are new to gymnastics and a continuation for those progressing from our GymMovers Program.
In GymFoundation, we focus on developing more complex skills and movements, encompassing all aspects of gymnastics, including balance, swing, jumps, rotation, and landing. Our experienced coaches guide gymnasts through a comprehensive two-week rotation, exploring all artistic gymnastics apparatus, including vault, bars, beam, floor, parallel bars, and rings.
GymFoundation provides a challenging and rewarding environment for both beginners and those seeking to advance their gymnastics abilities.
GymExplorers is an exciting one-hour class designed for school-attending children aged 5-6. This class welcomes both newcomers to gymnastics and those advancing from our GymElementary Program.
GymExplorers prioritises essential skills and activities crucial for every gymnast’s development. Our dedicated coaches focus on enhancing coordination, balance, strength, and body awareness.
Over a two-week period, gymnasts will experience all artistic gymnastics apparatus, including vault, bars, beam, floor, parallel bars, and rings.
Ready to flip, tumble, and have a blast? Join our GymTumble class, perfect for beginners eager to learn the basics of tumbling! This fun, high-energy class is designed specifically for kids aged 7-12, focusing on foundational skills, safety, and having a great time while building strength and confidence.
Each week, our experienced instructor will guide students through basic tumbling techniques, balance drills, and fun exercises that help develop coordination and flexibility. Whether your child is new to tumbling or just looking to refine their skills, this class offers a supportive environment where everyone can shine.

TeenGym is an engaging 90-minute class designed for school-attending children aged 12 and above. This class serves as an entry point for older children who are new to gymnastics and a continuation for those progressing from our GymFoundation Program.
In TeenGym, we focus on further developing the required technique and execution of previously learnt skills, as well as the initial learning stages of new skills. Our dedicated coaches will create and execute lessons based on each of our gymnasts specific goals to assist them in learning the skills they are interested in.
TeenGym provides a great opportunity for older gymnasts to improve their health and fitness in a fun, social environment.
Developmental gymnastics

The GymEvolution program is an invite-only, intensive 4-hour weekly commitment for exceptional gymnasts ready to take their skills to the next level. Offered as two 2-hour sessions, this program is designed for those who have excelled in their recreational classes and possess the requisite strength, flexibility, and determination.
GymEvolution emphasises mastering correct technique and executing foundational skills with precision, preparing gymnasts for a potential competitive pathway. Through this program, gymnasts develop fundamental skills, body shapes, strength, flexibility, body control, and spatial awareness. GymEvolution demands unwavering commitment and determination from our young athletes.
For children who have demonstrated exceptional ability in their recreational or GymExcellence classes, GymChamps offers a challenging 2-hour class. Building upon the foundations of strength, flexibility, and shaping, coaches guide gymnasts in developing new, advanced skills.
GymChamps emphasises further skill progression, complex body movements, and technique refinement. Gymnasts who excel in GymChamps may progress to our GymStar Challenge or GymStar Competitive Program.
GymExcellence Intermediate is a 90-minute class tailored for children who have shown proficiency in their recreational classes.
In GymExcellence Intermediate, we focus on skill advancement, introducing more complex body movements, and refining technique. Our coaches dedicate ample time to perfecting current shaping and technique before progressing to more advanced skills. Excelling in GymExcellence may progress to our GymChamps, GymStar Challenge, or GymStar Competitive Program.
Competition gymnastics

The Australian Levels Program (ALP) is the national competitive gymnastics stream, focusing on high quality technique and presentation. Governed by Gymnastics Australia, the ALP program begins with compulsory routines and skills, progressing to optional levels as gymnasts advance.
Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) encompasses four apparatus: vault, bars, beam, and floor. Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) includes six apparatus: floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars, and high bar. ALP gymnasts commit to attending multiple competitions throughout the year. Exceptional performers in our Development program may be invited to join the ALP program.
GymStar Challenge is a 2-hour weekly class that builds upon the skills developed in our recreational and Intermediate programs. This program fosters the development of key skills, body shapes, strength, flexibility, body control, and spatial awareness in a fun and relaxed environment. Gymnasts learn competition etiquette and respect for the sport while having the opportunity to compete both internally and externally, although not compulsory. Exceptional performers in our GymSkills Intermediate and Advanced classes may be invited to join the GymStar Challenge program.
GymStar, our recreation-based competitive program, offers gymnasts the opportunity to develop their skills and grow as competitors with a less intensive commitment compared to the ALP program.
While still focusing on skill development, GymStar allows more flexibility in routine creation and skill selection. Gymnasts participate in competitions throughout the year that prioritise participation, teamwork, individual and team achievements, and skill development. Outstanding performers in our GymSkills Intermediate or Advanced programs may be invited to join GymStar.

At Casey Gymnastics, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment through our All Access classes, designed for individuals with mental and physical disabilities. Our goal is to ensure that everyone, regardless of ability, has access to the sport of gymnastics. We offer a tailored program that accommodates a wide range of needs, from learning disabilities and congenital disorders to visual impairments, anxiety, and social assistance requirements. Our coaches work closely with participants and their parents/caregivers to set goals and develop personalised one-on-one classes. As a proud “Inclusive Leader Club” partnered with Gymnastics Victoria, we strive to remove barriers and create opportunities for all. Access All Abilities classes are subject to coach availability and individual needs.
