Supported access program (SAP)
The SAP is an initiative by Aligned Leisure to provide access across the Casey Leisure Facilities memberships, programs and services for those residents experiencing health inequalities whilst under financial stress and hardship. All applicants must be residents of the City of Casey (proof of residency may be requested).
The intention of SAP is to be of temporary assistance and enable access to services that are beneficial to the health and well-being of participants.

Applications are made on behalf of participants from a recognised agency or support worker. Applicants must be residents of the City of Casey.
Applications are not accepted from individuals
The SAP funds can be utilised for swimming lessons, gymnastics programming and gym/aquatic access. This could be a Term program or DD membership, depending on the individual circumstances.
Yes.
- Swim School / Gymnastics – DD members require a minimum of 80% attendance to their
swimming or gymnastics lessons - Gym / Pool Access – DD members require an average of 1 visit per week
- Swim School, Gymnastics, Gym / Pool Access – assessed bi-monthly
The agency/support worker can contact our team via email or download the relevant forms.
Our team then emails the agency/support worker the necessary paperwork, which includes a Supported Access Program Referral Form and a Supported Access Program Client Application Form. Once received and the case is reviewed, our team contacts the agency/support worker to arrange an interview for all parties.
Note: that successful applications may be wait-listed to access programs and services.
No. Participants on the Supported Access Program are required to contribute a percentage of 20% to the relevant term program or membership fee via direct debit.
Funding is offered from 3 months and will be subject to meeting minimum attendance requirements.
