The Shed Skatepark welcomed the community through its doors on Saturday the 19th of September for its first Open Day, with more than 80 participants taking part across the afternoon.
Running from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, the free event gave riders, families and members of the local community the opportunity to experience everything The Shed has to offer.
The afternoon was packed with riding, activities and plenty of action throughout the skatepark, creating a great atmosphere and giving both new and familiar faces the chance to enjoy the facility.
The Open Day was also an opportunity to showcase The Shed as a welcoming space for riders of all ages and abilities, while introducing more of the community to the range of sessions, lessons and activities available throughout the year.
A big thank you to everyone who came along and helped make The Shed’s first Open Day such a successful event. It was fantastic to see the skatepark full of energy and the local riding community coming together.
