Water safety across Casey Leisure facilities
As we move into the warmer months, it’s more important than ever to stay vigilant around water. Casey Leisure has a Watch Around Water policy in place at both Casey RACE and Casey ARC. This policy requires parents and guardians to actively supervise children at all times, helping to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Supervision Requirements
Children under 5 years
Must be accompanied by a parent/guardian both in the centre and in the water.
Must remain within arm’s reach during play activities.
Children under 10 years
Must be accompanied into the centre by a parent/guardian.
Parents/guardians must actively supervise at all times and maintain an unobstructed view.
Children must wear an issued wristband.
Children 10 years and older
Parents/guardians should determine the level of supervision required based on their child’s swimming ability and overall development.
Recommended Supervision Ratios
Children under 5 years: 1 parent/guardian to a maximum of 2 children
Children under 10 years: 1 parent/guardian to a maximum of 4 children
