Women of Casey Health Program Wraps Up Another Successful Year.

The 2025 edition of the Women of Casey health and wellbeing program has officially wrapped up, following ten empowering weeks of movement, education, and connection for women across the City of Casey.

Over the past 10 weeks, women from across the community came together every Tuesday evening for our free Women of Casey program,  a unique blend of physical activity and health education in a supportive, women-only space. From beginners to seasoned fitness enthusiasts, participants embraced sessions tailored to their individual needs, built new connections, and took meaningful steps toward their health and wellbeing goals.

Watching the Women of Casey group, I saw just how powerful connection can be. The way everyone showed up for each other, shared openly, and grew together was really inspiring. The Graduation night was a particular highlight with so many women surrounded by their loved ones celebrating their strength, resilience and bravery. And so many health goals and outcomes achieved - what a success!

The Women of Casey program forms part of a broader movement within the region to support and uplift women through health-focused opportunities.

Feedback from participants praised the program for its welcoming atmosphere, the quality of its workshops, and the positive community connections it fostered.

I love being part of the Women of Casey program because it creates such a positive and supportive space for women to come together, grow in confidence, and prioritise their wellbeing. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness genuine connections and friendships form seeing women support each other, share their journeys, and build a sense of community it's what makes this program so special.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the program, and a big shoutout to our incredible supporters listed below. We hope to welcome you all back next year, along with plenty of new faces!

A special thank you to Kristyn Cornthwaite, Caitlyn Capes, and Cindy Bell for their outstanding work throughout the program.
