City of Casey, YMCA Victoria, and Aligned Leisure have been working together to minimise any disruption to you and your family when using the facilities and services, but there will be some changes, so we have put together the following information to assist you.
All of your customer and membership information has been securely transferred to Aligned Leisure, and your membership will continue without interruption. There is no need for you to take any action.
Fees and Direct Debit Information
- Your direct debit schedule will remain fortnightly, with the first direct debit from Aligned Leisure commencing Thursday 4 July 2024 in line with the current YMCA debit cycle.
- The annual price increase to gymnastics has occurred from 1 July 2024 with your new price listed below.
- On average, membership fees have increased by 2.5 per cent.
- Aligned Leisure will be listed on your payment transaction.

- Casey Leisure will continue to deliver Gymnastics classes under the Casey Gymnastics brand.
- The majority of current centre staff, including gymnastics coaches, have confirmed their employment with Aligned Leisure, so you will see many familiar faces around the centre.
- Aligned Leisure has partnered with Gymnastics Victoria, the State’s Governing body for gymnastics, to deliver lessons.
- The Gymnastics Victoria program has been mapped to current YMCA programming. You can find your new level below.
- While some class names may have changed to align with Gymnastics Victoria’s naming conventions, the core skills, foundations, and fundamentals of gymnastics being taught will remain unchanged. Your child’s progression and development in gymnastics will continue seamlessly.

We understand how crucial consistent and high-quality gymnastics training is for your child’s development and enjoyment. We want to reassure you that the programs, levels, and skills your gymnasts are currently learning will continue to be based on age-appropriate and level-appropriate requirements.
While some of the class names may change slightly to align with Gymnastics Victoria’s naming conventions, the core skills, foundations, and fundamentals of gymnastics will remain unchanged. Your child’s progression and development in gymnastics will continue seamlessly.
Aligned Leisure will make every effort to transition existing students into classes on the same day and time. We will contact families in the event a change is required prior to 1 July.
